Be a part of something great. We are dedicated to building a stronger
physician-scientist pipeline, thereby contributing to health discoveries of today and the cures of tomorrow.

Every day, physician-scientists are leaving research because of a lack of funding and increased administrative and clinical demands. AJIA was created to help address this issue.

What We Do

Building the careers of junior investigators, forging tomorrow’s scientific breakthroughs

Career development

Dedicated career development opportunities at large national meetings with high-yield
workshops on making the transition to scientific independence, on how to start a laboratory, and how to jump-start a clinician-scientist career.

Mentorship

Access to a vast network of senior mentors who have experience in training the next generation of physician-scientist leaders.

Networking

Leveraging a network of similar stage physician-scientist trainees to provide horizontal mentorship and advice on the transition to scientific independence.

About Us
